Athletes Around The Country Are Giving Free Back To School Haircuts

Atlanta based member owned sports organization, Allied Athlete Group Foundation (AAG Foundation), continues their philanthropic work in communities across the country. Sam Madison, 11-year NFL veteran had been sponsoring free haircuts for kids to go back to school for the past five years and approached friend and former NFL player and President/Founder Reggie Howard of Allied Athlete Group Foundation to encourage their members and other professional athletes to do the same.

Through a multi-faceted health promotion event, minority health disparities discussed include obesity, heart disease, diabetes, reproductive health, forms of cancers, depression, digestive care, women and clinical trials, nutrition and
fitness.
